Le jeu oppose 2 forces: Global Risk et Black List.
Vous choisirez parmi 3 unités d'interventions: les S.W.A.T. d'Amérique, les S.A.S. Britannique, et les OMOH de Russie.

Il y a 7 modes de jeux: Team Death Match, Search and Destroy, Elimination Match, Ghost Mode, Free-For-All, Special Mode et Mutation Mode.

Quand vous tuez des adversaires vous obtenez des points qui vous servirons à monter en grade.

• CF Server Maintenance Tonight 10pm EST
  Attention Soldiers! The Cross Fire servers will be down tonight at 10pm EST for approximately 3 hours while we restart the servers with an update to fix some recent bugs introduced in the last patch. This patch will help stabilize the game and look to fix the loading error people have been experiencing as well as correct the error with Nightmare Bosses on the new Zombie Mode map - Venice. *Please note that we cannot guarantee a solution at this time. Loading errors can be caused by anything from the setup of the users computer to a bug within the game. No all loading problems are ours or the developers fault.* THERE WILL BE NO NEW CONTENT WITH THIS PATCH. Thanks for your patience in this matter. We hope that with this fix everyone will be able to enjoy a Christmas Cross Fire experience! For those who have been playing in the 12 Days of CF and have been hampered with this loading error we will look to do some events in the next week or two which will involve plenty of chances for free items and the new AK47 Knife Adv!   Thanksgiving isn't without it's drama! The CF Website has been unstable this morning and some areas of the site will continue to pose problems until they get fixed. We hope to have the rest of the site functioning by the end of today. There is still some work being done to the event page, however it should be up soon. We will also be running a short Cross Fire Server Maintenance tonight at 11pm EST in an attempt to fix the common 24_9 error players have been experiencing. We appologize for this delay however we feel it important enough to put this update in now rather than wait.   The Cross Fire Servers will be down tonight for approximately 2-3 hours beginning at 12:01am EST (Immediately following the Halloween Event Closing). This maintenance will be fixing a few back-end bug fixes with to the game. When the game comes back online you will need to patch as normal. This update will involving some small changes to the cf files be sure to have the CF Folder in your A/V exception folder and make sure to disable your anti virus while patching (especially for users of AVG and AVAST). • CF Zombie Mode Update
  The CF Servers are live and you will need to update your client. Two bugs have been fixed in this patch: The first bug removed your kill statistics from Zombie Mode from your regular record. This was an unintended result introduced from Zombie Mode. The second bug disallowed excess EXP and GP gained on an account as a result of leaving a game before the match was over (non Zombie Mode games). The EXP and GP gained from this exploit has not been removed from your accounts, however your kills and deaths and statistics achieved from Zombie Mode have been reset. We will be adding these additional statistics to your clan profile at a later date. For full information on this patch, please refer to our Community Forum post on this subject.

This was a problem that was beyond the simple control of our technicians and required some additional help to fix. During this time, our website was virtually down and players were experiencing stability issues on our game servers for both Metin 2 and Cross Fire! We have been working to solve these issues and as you can see, most of our site is functioning again. There are still a few areas that need to be fixed, but for the most part we are back in action!   IP restrictions are now in effect for the Z8Games version of Cross Fire. The ability to play with new accounts from areas outside of the green regions on the blow map are now disabled. All current and pre-existing accounts remain unaffected by this change. You may continue to register accounts on Z8Games but you will not be able to access the game servers with those new accounts fall outside of the restricted areas.   Rival Factions is back! Click here to view the new Rival Factions page! Season 2 of Rival Factions begins with an introductory story. A new hero has joined the Global Risk team to seek out Ghost and a new threat! Read the Season 2 Introduction story on the Rival Factions page here! The introduction story is just that. There will be no mission or prizes for this particular story. Episode one will begin some time after April 10th. And without further ado, here are the specific details for Season 2. Each mission will be approximately 1 month long. With small prizes going to the top 100 players from each side and a more significant prize going to the top 10 players from the WINNING side on each mission. Each mission is accompanied by a short story to set up the location and mission you'll be playing on! Season 2 (and the beginning of all future seasons) also marks the opportunity to change sides. If you didn't like the way Ghost treated you while a member of Black List or if you got tired of fighting for order with Roid then how is your chance to Re-Enlist with a new side! *note* If you do not want to change sides you do not have to re-enlist. You will remain on the side you were on in Season 1. After April 10th at 11:59pm the Rosters will be locked. And you will be unable to change sides until Season 3 Begins. Starting from 12:01am EST September 22nd until Sunday September 26th, you can earn yourself some extra clan points by aiming for the head! Each day, for every 50 headshots you gain you will earn an extra clan point for the glory of your clan! There is a maximum of 5 extra clan points earned per day allowed. This means that you can earn up to 10 points each day this weekend just for making sure your shots hit the head! So get out there and start practicing those head shots. • Updates: Event = Success, Xfire Video Contest, and a Not So Subtle Hint
  Greetings Soldiers, We're back with a few quick updates regarding recent and upcoming events. Up first, Rival Factions... The Cross Fire community has been rightfully divided and the war is fully underway with point totals for each team now in the millions! We're glad to see that the players have taken to the rivalry and to all those fence-sitters out there, this is war! A battlefield is no place for spectators or sissies! Choose your side now here. Black List, lead by the mysterious Ghost, currently lead in the war, though the scores are tight. Alex Roid and the Global Risk team will have to turn things around quickly though because Mission One (RF-01) will end on February 03, 2010. That morning, the final scores will be updated and the winner for this mission will be declared. Shortly after, De-Briefings for each side will be posted on the "Current Missions" page which will reveal the conclusion of this mission and hint towards the next. Oh yeah, prizes will also be distributed to members of the winning clan. Next up we have the Xfire Video Contest. The event so far has been a tremendous success and from what I can tell the Cross Fire category leads in the total number of submissions, so congratulations to you guys! Keep up the good work because the VCAs will run until February 22nd, 2010. Good luck to all entrants! Check out the contest page here. EDIT: I was just notified that Xfire received an update that should make the video capture feature work for Windows Vista and 7 users.   As of early this morning, Cross Fire has been patched with new content and a number of functionality improvements. Upon launching Cross Fire today, you will be prompted to update your game client. Please be patient as your client updates, we estimate that traffic will be heavy for at least a day following the upgrade as everyone updates to the latest client. The biggest addition in this patch is a new Search & Destroy map called, 'Santoria'. Additionally, the Black Market has overhauled with a new user interface and a few new weapons have been added to the coupon exchange, one of which is the highly-anticipated Golden M4A-1! Micellaneous updates and improvements include a new widescreen resolution, the ability to move the game window around, an improved UI for comparing weapons, and new game sorting options in server channels.   The Cross Fire servers will be down for 2 - 4 hours on Thursday August 6th 2009 at 1:00 AM EST as we perform server maintenance and update the game. After the Cross Fire servers come back online you will need to patch your client. Please check http://timeanddate.com if you need to convert EST to your local time zone. This will be a large patch that will include many new weapons, 2 new maps, and a variety of changes/additions to the game.
